We are seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail products, excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, and a flair for branding. You will play a key role in developing innovative product designs that resonate with our target audience and enhance our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design: Conceptualize and create innovative product designs that align with market trends and consumer needs.

Concept Development: Create innovative packaging designs that reflect our brand and resonate with our target audience.
Design Execution: Develop detailed packaging designs from scratch, including structural and graphic elements.
Barcode Integration: Design and incorporate barcodes and other necessary labeling into packaging layouts.
Image Sourcing and Creation: Collaborate with photographers and illustrators to source or create high-quality images for packaging.
Specification Documentation: Prepare detailed packaging specifications, including materials, dimensions, and production processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and production teams to ensure packaging designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
Quality Control: Review prototypes and final products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.

Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with packaging trends and best practices to ensure designs are competitive and innovative.
Supplier Liaison: Collaborate effectively with suppliers to ensure design feasibility, quality, and timely production. Facilitate clear communication between teams to resolve any issues that arise.
Branding: Develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity across product lines, ensuring that all designs reflect our brand values and aesthetics.
Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
Prototyping: Create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to visualize and present design concepts.
Feedback Implementation: Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, customers, and team members to refine and enhance product designs.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in product design, particularly in the retail sector.
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
A strong portfolio showcasing your design work and branding expertise.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD programs).
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation.
