One of the largest waste management service providers in Irelands Mid‐West; Clean Ireland Recycling has been servicing customers for over 30 years. The Company has grown from strength to strength and is now operating four waste transfer facilities with a large modern fleet of vehicles/plant.
We are looking to recruit a mechanic/fitter to assist in the service & maintenance of our growing fleet of trucks, vans & mobile plant.
The fleet consists of both diesel & Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks, electric cars & various pieces of mobile plant & equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Repair & Service Maintenance of company HGV’s, Trailers, Plant & Waste Equipment to maximise efficiency of the fleet.
- Adhere to workshop systems.
- Assist with planning of vehicle maintenance, ordering of parts and the coordination of works with other garage staff.
- Part Qualified / Apprentice candidates will be considered depending on experience
- Ability to work under your own initiative is required.
- Must be able to work with & as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.
