Honda Ireland are seeking a Business Development Territory Manager for Honda Parts, Equipment, Lawn and Garden, ATV & Marine.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge, sales experience, and strong organizational skills to drive growth and build lasting relationships with dealers.
The successful candidate will be covering the Southern Midlands region.
The Role:
Dealer visits:

• Achieve personal and company sales targets within your territory.

• Plan and execute effective coverage of the region to maximize sales opportunities.

• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with the current dealer network.

• Identify and establish relationships with new business partners to expand various segments of the business.

• Drive sales growth across all product segments, including Honda Parts, Lawn & Garden, Power Equipment, ATV, and Marine.

• Provide management with detailed reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential new revenue streams.

• Act as a brand ambassador of the company.

• Track and assess dealer performance against sales targets, providing feedback and strategies for improvement.

Office:

• Attend team meetings, share updates on sales progress, and contribute to strategy development for sales performance improvement.

• Handle incoming parts calls, process orders, and manage payments efficiently.

• Assist other departments as needed, including conducting stock takes.

• On site training on parts system, schematics and product training.

Remote:

• Answer incoming calls through the company's work phone portal during designated hours, handling enquiries, processing orders, providing product information, and resolving issues.

• Follow up on leads and customer enquiries received via email or online.

• Ensure all calls are properly logged after completion

• Send follow-up emails to dealers outlining action points and minutes discussed during weekly visits.

• Report to management on potential new business opportunities, competitor activities, and relevant market information.

• Provide dealers with information on pricing, stock availability, and lead times via email and phone.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience or interest in ATVs, Marine, or Lawn and Garden products is beneficial.

• Familiarity with product schematics and technical details.

• A degree in business or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• A self-motivated individual with a proven ability or strong desire to achieve sales targets. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers, dealers, and internal teams.

• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays as needed.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements.
