The Salvation Army is looking for a passionate, proactive and influential HR professional to join our Ireland Division as an HR Assistant.
This role is peripatetic in nature, based in Dublin and with responsibility for ROI services. There is a requirement for regular travel to sites throughout the Ireland Division combined with home working. Occasional travel to regional and Head Office is required.
Key Responsibilities:
· HR audit
· Working as part of a team providing high level HR advice and guidance on low level Employee Relations cases
· Assisting in developing and implementing policies, procedures and processes
· Support managers on a one to one basis to carry out HR related processes such as recruitment, absence management, performance management
· Support and work closely with the HRBP on a day to day basis by taking an active lead on all operational duties
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
· Qualification in HR
· 1-2 years experience in busy HR
· Experience and a current working knowledge of ROI and NI employment law and working practices
· Experience of successfully advising and coaching line managers on HR issues, up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and codes of practice, and experience of recruitment, selection and interviewing
· Experience in ER cases
· Valid work visa (no sponsorship available)
WORKING HOURS:
39 hours per week
CONTRACT:
3 Month Fixed Term Contract
