Job Overview:
The inventory Assistant is responsible for supporting the operation of the stockroom by receiving, storing, and organising stock,as well as ensuring accurate inventory management. The role involves assisting with new deliveries, maintaining a clean and organised stockroom, and ensuring products are priced correctly.
Key Responsibilities:

• Organise deliveries and ensure goods are received in good condition
• Sort products within the stockroom to ensure it is stored safely and efficiently
• Arrange items in appropriate locations for easy retrieval
• Monitor stock levels and assist in conducting regular stock counts
• Aid stock buyers on stocking needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised stockrooms
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations

General Duties:

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet business objectives
• Any other duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager or Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Required:
• Basic understanding of stock management and inventory control
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform manual tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well on your own initiative
• Basic Excel skills
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Preferred:
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or similar environment
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a stockroom setting

Work Conditions:

• Work is performed in a stockroom environment
• Some heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in varied temperature conditions may be required.
• May involve shift work, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €12.70 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
