Hamilton Robson, one of the fastest-growing audio-visual technology companies in the UK and Ireland is seeking a Junior AV Technician to work on-site with one of our clients based in Central Dublin. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
This is a rare entry level opportunity to get a head-start in the AV sector. You will be working alongside a senior AV technician who will provide you with all the support you’ll need to learn and grow as a technician. Regular and complete training will be offered. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to learn the skills/disciplines required to develop and build a successful career within Hamilton Robson.
The role:
· Assist with the full AV toolkit including audio, data, video, and live streaming, on-site with our client, a large semi-state body based in Central Dublin
· Provide AV support for internal stakeholders
· Provide assistance for events
· Customer facing, resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
· Building good relationships with customers on site
· Use of light tools required
· Ensuring day to day upkeep of AV infrastructure within the office
· Support and shadow senior team members
The person:
· No prior in-industry experience required
· Knowledge of audio, lighting, data/video and Live Streaming equipment advantageous but not essential
· An enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated individual, eager to learn
· General knowledge and interest in audio visual systems and technologies
· Basic IT knowledge
· Knowledge of Windows and Mac
· Be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
· Friendly, confident and helpful manner
· Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure
· Willingness to travel
· Basic knowledge of Powerpoint, Keynote and presentation software an advantage
· Basic knowledge of structured cabling an advantage

Pay: €25,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
