Landscape Architectural Technician - Job Description
Murphy + Sheanon are a Landscape Design & Build practice uniquely specialising in horticulture and landscape architecture. We are a fast paced, creative office with an engaging team culture.
We are looking for an ambitious, motivated, and autonomous designer who specialises in the production and co-ordination of architectural drawings. The role will involve working with various teams to produce, develop and co-ordinate Revit models, CAD drawings and sketch-up models. The role will also require input in the production of high-quality photorealistic imagery.
Our company culture encourages staff to be self-motivated and we try to promote an autonomous working environment. We have a hybrid work policy. Our office is based in Glenageary, Co Dublin and connected to both bus and rail public transport.

The emphasis of any application should be on displaying examples of technical drawing and graphical proficiency. We specialise in residential landscape design and work on some of the finest properties in the Ireland and internationally, so experience in that field is beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
 A good design eye, with a practical and common sense approach to the work environment.
 The ability to produce extremely high quality technical drawing.
 A Level 7 Degree in Landscape Architecture / Architecture / Architectural Technology or similar
design-based course, with a level 8 Degree being preferable.
 Ideally 2+ years working in professional practice
 An ability to work within a team and autonomously
 Revvit proficiency is a mandatory requirement.
 Good general understanding of construction materials
 Ability to use drone hardware (with a drone licence highly desirable)
 Understanding and experience of drone equipment to produce topographical survey information
