Lead Manufacturing Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast growing team.


The candidate successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of manufacturing lines for module and battery packs to achieve the company target per annum. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right skillset.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Lead a manufacturing engineering support team of engineers and technicians to provide, ramp, and sustain a lean manufacturing process for mass production of battery systems
• Provide production systems & tools, certifying them for usage with the highest safety, quality, and output standards
• Generate process documentation for use in operations and maintenance.
• Oversee technician/operator equipment training.
• Use lean manufacturing concepts to optimize product flow and line efficiency by creating or enhancing tools, jigs, stations, work processes, and ergonomics.
• Lead technical projects within manufacturing to improve process capacity, capability, yield and maintainability.
• Develop an effective machine maintenance program with adequate spares inventory
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer issues a priority

To excel you will need:

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• 8+ years prior experience in manufacturing engineering roles
• Skilled at leading, coaching and developing direct reports across a broad range of engineering and technical disciplines
• Experience with automation systems, mechanical engineering, robotics, PLCs, data collection systems.
• Experience with Automotive / Medical Quality standards
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
• Hands-on expertise with high-volume and pilot production is required.
