Lift Apprentice Engineer

We are looking for an Apprentice Lift Engineer to join our Repairs/Maintenance team in Dublin. As an Apprentice Lift Engineer you will work with experienced Lift Engineers to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Engineer.
What you need to be successful:

To complete a 4 year Electrical apprenticeship, supported through a structured in-house development programme in conjunction with SOLAS.

To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development in the lift industry
-
Attend SOLAS and complete course work on time and to a high standard
-
Assist and liaise with Managers / Supervisors on relevant work activities
-
Understand and apply the electrical principles associated with lift installation and lift maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems
-
To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development in the lift industry
-
Ensure compliance in all Health and Safety practices in current legislation

Be qualified to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard
- This must include five passes in the Leaving Certificate (Maths and English must be two of these)
- Submit an Ishihara colour vision test – it must be on the SOLAS form
- Hold a Full Clean Irish Driving Licence
