Maintenance Engineer

Marlin operates a collection of lifestyle hotels, aparthotels & serviced apartments across the capital cities of London and Dublin. We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our property Dublin to support with both proactive and reactive programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Our Maintenance Engineer is the heart of the business, supporting the operation by undertaking planned preventative maintenance tasks as well as reactive repairs. This is a dynamic role with duties that may include:

Plumbing repairs – Toilets, showers, sinks etc.
Basic Electrics – Changing of spotlights and transformers
Painting and basic decoration repairs
Joinery repairs to furniture and doors
Mechanical & electrical planned maintenance duties
Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Demonstrate service excellence for every guest interaction
Ensure procedures and protocols are carried out to the highest quality
Ensure transparent communication is maintained for all feedback and incident
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Engage and support the company standards

Required skills:
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Positive attitude and good communication skills
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Autonomy to make logical decisions and prioritise urgent jobs

Required Experience:

Previous experience as a maintenance technician or within property maintenance
All round proven experience in general maintenance repairs, white goods repairs, plumbing, electrical and carpentry
Basic to Intermediate Excel and Word skills, would be an advantage but not essential
