Position Overview: Greenstone Structures, a leading manufacturing LGSF MMC offsite business in Ireland , is seeking an experienced Management Accountant \ Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of the company.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the manufacturing / construction industry and be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing financial risks, and supporting strategic financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Produce accurate monthly management accounts in a timely manner, ensuring precision in financial records and transactions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage financial models, budgets, and forecasts that align with the company’s long-term business goals.
• Grant Applications: Handle all aspects of grant applications, ensuring compliance with requirements and optimizing the company’s financial benefits.
• Tax Compliance: Manage interactions with Revenue and HMRC, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
• Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the Company.
• Data Processing: Process weekly delivery and invoicing, payroll.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, presenting complex data in an understandable manner.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to foster collaboration and support the overall business strategy.

Ideal candidate will have qualifications:

• Experience in financial management within manufacturing / construction-related businesses.
• Proven experience in producing monthly management accounts.
• Expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and financial management software (e.g., sage, ERP systems).
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to various stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Accounting Qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, is a strict requirement.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience is a strict requirement.
• Strong IT skills are essential, with demonstrable excel proficiency.
• Exposure to Accounting and/or Financial Systems is highly desirable.
