Introduction to role:
Join us as a Market Access Associate at Astra Zeneca, where you will be a key player in the development and implementation of price and reimbursement strategies for our products. You will have the opportunity to lead the annual horizon scan and price realignment process, working within cross-functional teams to contribute to strategic and operational planning. This role is an exciting opportunity to support the translation of Market Access strategies into implementation tactics, preparing health economic analysis, and engaging relevant team members to meet customer needs.

Accountabilities:
As a Market Access Associate, you will support the delivery of strategic and operational market access plans for brands, assist in the delivery of HTA submissions, and act as a member of the cross-functional team. You will represent Astra Zeneca to a high standard at internal and external meetings, gather knowledge of key external stakeholders and the competitive landscape, and secure feedback and insight sharing through relevant channels into the dedicated teams within Astra Zeneca. You will also assist in preparing and submitting local price and reimbursement applications (new applications, renewals), support relevant dialogue with the price and reimbursement authorities, and ensure tasks are of correct quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements and internal standards.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Scientific or Health Economics Graduate Degree or equivalent
Market Access experience
Basic knowledge and experience in data analysis
Good Communication and negotiation skills
Fluent in English
Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, health care systems and payer structures in Ireland
Ability to understand, assimilate and communicate scientific information
Ability to build strong professional relationships internally and externally
Being able to keep deadlines without compromising on quality
High ethical standard and good knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing ethical framework

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Knowledge of reimbursement landscape
