PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This is an entry level role in the Marketing Department. The Marketing Department are responsible for all external communications of the company including branding, social media, website, press, events, and more.

• Content Generation
• Copywriting & Scheduling
• Research & Analytics Assistance
• Community Engagement
• Internal Communications
• General Marketing Assistance as required

• Good knowledge of social media platforms and their audiences
• Ability to film and edit reels and Tik Toks
• Ability to work in a team
• Copywriting and proofreading with excellent attention to detail
• Outgoing & willing to get involved with events and shoots
• Proactive and curious about social media and marketing
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Teams
• Availability for out of hours events e.g. sporting events, sponsored festivals, etc

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES (nice to have)

• Graphic Design – Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
• Video editing
• Social Media Scheduling – Hootsuite or equivalent
• Judicious use of AI
• Interest in sport – Rugby, GAA, League of Ireland
• Interest in travel & sustainability

LOCATION ETC

• Galway City Office
• On-site work for 6 months with review thereafter subject to business needs
• 38 hour working week not incl. breaks
• Occasional weekend and out of core hours required
• TOIL for hours worked outside core hours
• 20 days Annual Leave

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS ETC

• Third Level Degree in relevant discipline
• Experience working in an office environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €29,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
