About Us
Sullivan's Taproom is a Independent Brewery Taproom offering craft beers, cocktails, wines and top class pizza. We are popular with locals and tourists alike and partner with tour groups regularly to add insight to our Brewery which was established in 1702 right here in Kilkenny.
We also host a few really cool events here such as Kilkenny Beer Festival & Oktoberfest along with taking part in Visit Kilkenny programmes like Savour & Tradfest. Private events and functions happen on the regular as well as being popular for live sport & music.
The most exciting thing here right now is being in the process of building a brewery onsite so that customers will be able to drink directly from the source, furthering the venue as a visitor attraction.
With all of that we are looking to hire a new member to our team with the following responsibilities:

• Overseeing our scheduled and private tours including research, development and procurement of tour operators
• Leading tours
• Training all members of staff on tours, brewing processes & Sullivan’s History
• Marketing of tourism & events
• Liaising with management with regards to reservations, events and tour clashes
• Liaising with the bar manager to ensure adequate stock levels for tours are maintained
• Managing our tour booking & ticketing channel's
• Cash reconciliations and site lock ups (when required)
• Complying with all relevant health and safety training and legislation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service/tourism
• Experience with booking/ticketing channels
• Experience with canva and social media channels
• Excellent leadership skills
• Excellent team spirit with a customer-focused attitude.
• Flexible to work in shifts including weekends and late evenings.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Quick decision-making skills.
• A keen eye for details.
