Company Overview: MOS Mechanical is a well-established and progressive mechanical contractor specialising in large-scale residential developments. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team and oversee multiple residential projects.
Role Overview: The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating various residential projects, ensuring that all mechanical installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of mechanical systems, building services, and residential construction.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage multiple residential projects, ensuring that all mechanical systems are installed to the highest standard.
• Attend and actively participate in client and design team meetings to ensure smooth project progression.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including plumbing and mechanical crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, materials, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Program and plan all project activities, maintaining up-to-date reporting for stakeholders and senior management.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor mechanical installations and sign off on completed work.
• Manage project resources, including workforce allocation, materials procurement, and equipment.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise on-site, ensuring minimal project delays.
• Provide leadership to the site teams, including mentoring and performance management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Ideal candidate will have a plumbing background
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably within the residential construction sector.
• Experience working with mechanical and electrical contractors in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, including HVAC and building services design.
• Proven track record of managing multiple residential projects successfully.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage projects effectively and to tight deadlines.
