Role Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance and calibrations as per work instructions (mechanical aptitude required i.e., previous line experience).
- Upkeep of services sitewide i.e., Heat, Water, Gas, Elec, Air con, compressed air.
- Provide support as required for new equipment installation, tasks to include Design/specification/Removal of old equipment/services installation and installation/commissioning.
- Provide support as required and liaise with on-site customers in courteous and timely manner.
- Assist in planning and carrying out layout changes to production lines and facilities.
- Undertake general maintenance & Janitorial tasks as required including recycling support in line with company environmental guidelines.
- Repair equipment or appliances.
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks.
- Identify and report the need for major repairs.
- Support in the maintenance and repair of plumbing, carpentry etc. to include site external areas as required.
- Set up of office layout and manufacturing floor lay out (desks, benches, equipment),
- Support in the maintenance of the outdoor facility – carpark, landscape.
- Manage and maintain company resources effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain stock levels for all Equipment spares.
- Maintain and upkeep of life safety systems (Fire extinguishers/Fire Alarm/Intruder Alarm/Gas monitoring where required)
- Maintain and keep regulatory requirements up to date. (e.g., Legionella Testing, lifting equipment, etc.)
- Audit Support, location, and maintenance of records (e.g., NSAI, ISO, Client)
- Third level technical qualification or trade qualification preferred.
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision required.
- A broad grasp of general facility repair and maintenance duties is essential for this role.
- Ideally candidate would have skills in the understanding of Mechanical Systems, blueprint reading, precision measurement, the use of hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and specifications.
- Some experience in pneumatics, hydraulics and basic electrical/plumbing principles is an advantage.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail and high standards of work is necessary to provide a seamless service to our internal teams.
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols is essential, and an understanding of fire safety would be beneficial.
- Strong verbal English and communication skills.
- Appointment to a role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work full time hours in Ireland.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Please note, Manual Handling Training is required and lifting, climbing, bending, and stretching is required in the role
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
