Night Steward- Social Care Service

Due to continued expansion, we are now seeking to recruit a Night Steward to join our team (Portarlington area).
The Night Steward Will:
- Have a full manual drivers licence.
- Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Experience working in a Social Care Setting would be an advantage.
- Rate of pay varies depending on level of Healthcare Qualification.
- The Night Steward carries out observation spot checks at the Service User's residence as directed by the case manager.
- The Night Steward will follow strict protocol for entering the Service User's home as specified in the policies and procedures.
- The Night Steward will be required to administer medication to Service User's in line with GALRO's medication Management Policy.
- The Night Steward will carry out periodic monitory checks to ensure all staff are on duty as they should.
- Premium rate of pay for night shift, hours 11pm - 7am (+25%).
- Premium Rate of pay for weekend working (+33%).

Pay: €14.00-€18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
