Night Steward- Social Care Service

GALRO have over twenty years' experience as a leading provider of Social Care and Clinical support services in Ireland.
Due to continued expansion, we are now seeking to recruit a Night Steward to join our team (Portarlington area).
The Night Steward Will:
  • Have a full manual drivers licence.
  • Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Experience working in a Social Care Setting would be an advantage.
  • Rate of pay varies depending on level of Healthcare Qualification.
Procedure:
  • The Night Steward carries out observation spot checks at the Service User's residence as directed by the case manager.
  • The Night Steward will follow strict protocol for entering the Service User's home as specified in the policies and procedures.
  • The Night Steward will be required to administer medication to Service User's in line with GALRO's medication Management Policy.
  • The Night Steward will carry out periodic monitory checks to ensure all staff are on duty as they should.
