About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Performance Improvement Lead to join our dynamic team at Baileys in Dublin, Ireland.
This role partners closely with the Packaging Team Leader, sharing responsibility for achieving line scorecard results, including safety, quality, cost, and service metrics.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing and coaching sustainable deployment of MMS practices, driving continuous improvement through loss and waste analysis, and using tools such as RCPS and DMAIC.
You will lead problem-solving initiatives, provide data-driven insights, and support the line teams in integrating continuous improvement practices at various levels.
Additionally, you will be responsible for training and coaching the line team on troubleshooting tools, facilitating regular performance reviews, and ensuring improvements are standardised and sustained.
This role requires a strong commitment to performance excellence and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
About you
The ideal candidate will have an engineering or craft background with qualifications or equivalent experience.
Additional qualifications such as NEBOSH, IBD General Certificate in Spirits/Beer Packaging, Yellow and Green Belt Six Sigma, Train the Trainer, and DMAIC certifications would be advantageous.
A background in a process environment is hugely beneficial with a proven track record of managing people or small teams, handling projects, and working effectively within cross-functional teams.
Experience with manufacturing excellence tools and techniques, such as 5S, setup time reduction, Lean Six Sigma, and DMAIC, is essential.
Strong coaching and influencing skills are required, alongside excellent engagement and communication abilities.
Candidates should also possess project management skills and be proficient in analysing data to identify loss, waste, and cost-saving opportunities.
