We are currently looking to hire a Protective Intelligence Analyst to join our team (embedded with our client in Dublin, Ireland)!

This position allows for Hybrid work arrangements from our client HQ in Dublin, Ireland. Candidates must live in Dublin or the surrounding area, as hybrid on-site work is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Protective Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for monitoring all source information to proactively identify and assess risks and threats to the client while also mentoring analysts in intelligence collection and analysis. This position requires excellent communication skills to synthesize intelligence from multiple sources into clear, actionable risk assessments. This position also expects strong communication skills to support and guide analysts on the team. The analyst will conduct open-source investigations, including persistent threat monitoring, person of interest (POI) investigations, and social media sentiment analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and monitor travel risks, event security, and executive protection to ensure the safety of personnel and operations, including research on international locations covering crime, political stability, and travel safety at hotels, venues, and transportation options.
Conduct open-source intelligence gathering and investigations to support protective intelligence efforts.
Use advanced tools to monitor, mitigate risks, and lead the evaluation and improvement of open-source collection methods.
Use regional expertise (when applicable) to spearhead intelligence research projects within the context of location-specific cultural norms
Provide timely reports, briefings, and actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and threat assessments tailored to stakeholder needs.
Research emerging threats and assess their impact on personnel and assets while proactively identifying and evaluating international security risks, including political movements, terrorism, espionage, public health, and infrastructure challenges.
Lead information collection efforts on crisis situations and emerging threats, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Guide and mentor analysts in intelligence collection, analysis, and best practices for using intelligence tools and platforms.
Communicate effectively with security staff to identify, investigate, analyze, and manage online threats to executive staff, employees, and facilities.
Display superior research methodology using open-source intelligence, databases, and social media platforms to deliver clear and professional findings on potential threats.
Build and maintain intelligence-sharing networks within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners to provide tailored intelligence products that meet their needs.
Flexible work schedule as part of a 24/7 team: able to work assigned shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in political science, international affairs, economics, business, or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of related experience providing intelligence or risk analysis
Proven ability to be an outstanding colleague in a collaborative setting with a strong initiative to improve processes and procedures
Comfortable with changing requirements and priorities; ability to adapt quickly
Experience working with the identification and analysis of POI threats
Experience using open-source and/or social media tools
Working knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, including AI-related risks, phishing scams, social engineering techniques, and other cybersecurity issues
Experience leveraging technological resources for research and analysis
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Experience working with highly confidential information
Experience working with diverse partners
This is a full-time position. Work is usually conducted Monday through Friday during daytime hours, but after-hours work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
This position may require up to 10% travel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Regional expertise

Experience conducting due diligence investigations
Expertise in forecasting risks, developing strategic outlooks, and writing about emerging threats
Experience managing online risk exposure
Familiarity with crisis threat management and/or law enforcement operations
