About EY
EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people and society and build trust in the capital markets. Enabled by data and technology, diverse EY teams in over 150 countries provide trust through consulting and help clients grow, transform and operate.
At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too.
The EY Talent (HR) Team sits within our Core Business Services (CBS) function, providing crucial support to EY Ireland’s 5,000+ employee strong workforce. The team is involved in every stage of the employment cycle; from attracting talent to supporting them on their career journey.
Here you can seek out the experiences, learnings, skills and relationships that will shape your career and beyond and be inspired by great leaders so you can lead and inspire others throughout your career journey.
The opportunity
This is a fast paced, hands-on recruitment role, where you will lead the end-to-end student recruitment process to support our Consulting business. Reporting to the head of Student Recruitment, you’ll be empowered to lead and to own relationships with key stakeholders in our business, with a focus on student talent attraction and an exceptional candidate journey.
In this role you will work with the wider Student Recruitment team and our business to source and attract university talent into a range of roles, through campus events, career insight days and events. You will also be expected to use online forums such as Linked In, to promote early career opportunities and initiatives.
In addition to talent attraction, you will act as the lead recruiter throughout the end-to-end recruitment process for student and entry level applicants within our Consulting practice - from application through to onboarding. This will include liaising with our team of administrators, onboarding, induction, Talent, and CBS functions as relevant, to ensure a smooth transition for candidates when joining the firm.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team with a focus on innovation and recruitment excellence in the early careers space.
Your key responsibilities
Your role will sit within the EY Ireland Talent Team which, located in our Dublin office, will support the firms graduate and undergraduate recruitment programmes which are key to the firm delivering its student strategy goals.
Day to day you will spend your time supporting our Consulting business, our applicants within the EY candidate journey and our future talent who are interested in a role at EY. You will work to build solid relationships with hiring managers to understand the type of talent they require, and in turn, work to build further candidate engagement with potential applicants through a variety of talent attraction initiatives. Using recruitment and hiring data to inform recruitment decisions is essential in this role, and comfort with managing large volumes of data will set you up for success.
You will be expected to be present in the EY Dublin office when required by your team lead, and at various university campuses during key student recruitment campaigns. When you are on campus, you will be building relationships with careers offices and attracting potential leaders of the future. You will represent EY at careers fairs and present to large groups of students on why EY is a great place to create your future.
A key part of this role is to work with our recruitment marketing department on building social assets in the form of Instagram stories and Facebook content to enhance engagement with the student population.
