Advance Protection are looking for Retail Security Guards to join their team.
Our guards go through an extensive, rigorous, and robust training program. This gives them the skills to be higher than standard and ensures the quality of security to protect our clients' business.
Advance Protection guards assigned to a site will have on-site training and will be fully aware of the facilities. You will be well equipped to carry out your duties safely and effectively.
Objectives of this role:

• Must have A.S.C.O.N.E Experience
• Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, access control, monitoring and equipment control.
• Be always visible and observant.
• Respond immediately to incidents swiftly and appropriately in a calm professional manner.
• Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with other security officers and site management.
• Maintain a high level of vigilance.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily reports including relevant information, observations, CCTV Body Camera footage.
• Patrol property on foot.
• Investigate and take appropriate action as required by company policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activity, safety, and fire incidents.
• Control and monitor CCTV always adhering to GDPR and perform building and equipment inspections.
• Secure all doors and exits depending on shift.
• Strong Understanding Retail Security Experience .

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Must have 5 years proven background experience
• Must hold an in date and valid PSA licence.
• Proven experience as a security officer
• A clear spoken voice and good command of English.
• Experience with security equipment and CCTV.
• Preferably able to travel to other sites in the region
