Now, we’re looking for a passionate Sales / Business Development Executive to help us expand our reach and drive growth across retail and foodservice markets.
Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales / Business Development Executive to join the Bia Sol team. Reporting to the Commercial Director (Co-Founder), this field-based role is designed to drive sales in both retail and foodservice channels. You will have the opportunity to visit a wide range of clients, from major retailers to corporates , and showcase the value of Bia Sol’s unique upcycled foods. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about food innovation and sustainability, and eager to contribute to a growing business with a strong mission.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Maximise sales to existing accounts by nurturing relationships with retail and foodservice partners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic markets for Bia Sol products, particularly focusing on health food trends.
- Extensive travel to meet with retail buyers, chefs, foodservice distributors, and partners to present and promote Bia Sol’s offerings.
- Promote Bia Sol’s products using a combination of traditional and digital methods, ensuring effective market penetration.
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to the marketing and product development teams, ensuring our products evolve with market needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service, production, and marketing to ensure seamless delivery of service and product to clients.
- Ownership of your role with full accountability for achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in food products, FMCG, or similar industries.
- Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and partners across Ireland.
- Experience in both digital marketing tools and traditional sales techniques.
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
