PEMCO – Progress Electroplating & Manufacturing Co. Ltd is a leading Manufacturing and Distribution company based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland supplying the Electrical Wholesale Trade in the Republic of Ireland.
Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive in the electrical wholesale industry. Must have previous electrical wholesaling experience, essential to have sales experience and be willing to chase new customers & develop the existing customer base.
THE ROLE:

• Field sales role servicing country customer to deliver agreed targets
• Explore and develop new sales opportunities for our expanding range

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous Experience with selling Electrical product ranges is essential.
• Technical qualification in an Electrical discipline preferred.
• Proven prospecting and market development experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Team player.
• Excellent customer focus.
• Dealing directly with customers, this key ‘hands on’ role is crucial to further develop the sales of all of the company’s brands through its retail & distributor customer base.
• This position will require a high level of self-organisation and discipline, with a commitment to support all of the designated accounts through regular on-site visits, ensuring that a comprehensive level of networking and communication is maintained across all of our customer sales channels.
• Day to day tasks involve the management of a current account base of 300 + customers through regular planned calls to a mix of Trade counter re-sellers and specialist Electrical Wholesalers. This customer base requires a hands-on approach to enhance their trade counter offer, and develop sales opportunities for them including regular product demonstrations & Trade Day events

Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful post holder will achieve designated sales targets, increase profit and develop the company’s market share .
