Main Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate a complete knowledge of all menu items.
- Demonstrate a complete knowledge of wine and beverage list, including cocktails and promote the use of suggestive sell to guests.
- Having the ability to make recommendations to customers.
- Remain informed on mixture and measure amounts associated with all drink's menu items.
- Being friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
- Ensure regular guests are known and greeted accordingly using their name and that new guests are welcomed.
- Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
- Carry out day to day duties such as cleaning, organising and maintaining all food and beverage areas, ensuring the property is presentable at all times.
- Ensure guests complaints are consistently resolved in a prompt and efficient manner and brought to the attention of the manager on duty.
- Ensure all transactions are completed correctly through the appropriate system.
- Practice effective stock control in accordance with set guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience a s Senior Bartender
- A full understanding of food and beverage menus.
- Allergen awareness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in a high volume/fast paced environment.
- Prior experience in Food and Beverage would be beneficial but is not essential in all cases.
- Previous experience in a hotel environment is desired but not essential.
