How will this role have Impact
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and vision for our application team on a new UI platform User Interface. You will lead the UI strategy for the application team that will allow us to utilize UI components from the UI platform team and combine and maintain effortless UI delivery onto a shared platform application. You will partner with platform teams, our product and UX team members to ensure our UI is delivering on the business objectives and building a valuable technology asset for the company. We're looking for technically skilled, passionate individuals who are ready to develop and sustain innovative solutions in our dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, robust software solutions using React Native and React.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Deliver customer-focused releases through iterative development.
• Ensure simplicity and maintainability in software design.
• Collaborate across teams to meet organizational needs.
• Promote a culture of inclusive collaboration and continuous learning.
• Ensure application observability in the form of metrics, logging, and monitoring.
• Provide technical mentorship to adjacent team members.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in frontend development. React Preferred
• Proficiency in React and React Native, with experience in developing mobile applications.
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles: problem-solving, data structures, algorithms, and patterns.
• Solid understanding and exposure to languages such as Javascript, Typescript, C#, Go, or others.
• Experience in full-stack development, capable of shipping and operating large-scale systems.
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with RDBMS like SQL Server or Postgre SQL.
• Understanding of distributed systems design, implementation, and operation.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud vendor: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with asynchronous, event-based architectures.
• Experience in native device development for i OS or Android
• Proficiency in technologies like REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Knowledge of Application and Performance Monitoring platforms, e.g., New Relic.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
