Role Overview

As the Senior HR Generalist at ORS, you will be critical in shaping our award-winning employee experience. This is a unique opportunity to lead our HR function, drive forward our people-first approach, and work across the entire ORS Group to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for all employees, including those in newly acquired companies. You will collaborate closely with leadership to integrate our expanding teams, foster a unified culture, and maintain the high standards that have earned us industry recognition.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the People and Culture strategy, ensuring alignment with ORS's values and growth objectives.
  • Support the successful integration of acquired companies, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with the ORS culture.
  • Champion the ORS employee experience, working closely with the talent acquisition lead to support our recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Drive employee development, engagement, and well-being initiatives across the organisation.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and execute people-focused strategies that align with business goals.
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and talent development programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HR policies and employment laws.

Requirements:

  • This is a mid-senior role reporting into the Head of Employee Experience
  • 5+ years experience is desirable
  • Proven experience in a HR or People and Culture role, with a track record of success in employee engagement and retention.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience in integrating newly acquired teams and maintaining strong cultural alignment is desirable.
  • Experience reporting at board level and using data to inform strategic business decisions, including assessing internal and external factors that impact talent management is desirable.
  • A deep understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Passion for fostering an inclusive, innovative, and high-performing workplace culture.
