Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Portlaoise, Co. Laois, Ireland
Key Responsibilities:

• Verify plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
• Monitor and interpret contract design documents.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and the workforce.
• Perform setting out using various instruments.
• Supervise and monitor ground works and civil engineering contractors.
• Resolve technical difficulties.
• Report progress and highlight concerns.
• Oversee quality management and BCAR coordination.
• Ensure adherence to planning, health and safety, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and submit reports.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural).
• Extensive experience as a Site Engineer on residential projects.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD, Total Station, GPS, etc.
• Knowledge of the latest building regulations and certification standards.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
