Setting Out Engineer

Location: Portlaoise, Co. Laois, Ireland
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
- Monitor and interpret contract design documents.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and the workforce.
- Perform setting out using various instruments.
- Supervise and monitor ground works and civil engineering contractors.
- Resolve technical difficulties.
- Report progress and highlight concerns.
- Oversee quality management and BCAR coordination.
- Ensure adherence to planning, health and safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural).
- Extensive experience as a Site Engineer on residential projects.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Total Station, GPS, etc.
- Knowledge of the latest building regulations and certification standards.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
