Our client specializes in the maintenance and de-gassing of ADR tankers, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced ADR Artic Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a full-time driver seeking a career change while continuing to utilize their ADR driving skills, or for a newly qualified driver eager to gain experience and grow in the ADR tanker industry.
Position Overview:
As an ADR Artic Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of tankers to and from customers, while also gaining hands-on experience in the maintenance and de-gassing of ADR tankers. Comprehensive training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to develop new skills in a specialized field.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving Duties:

• Safely operate an Artic vehicle in compliance with ADR regulations and company policies.
• Ensure the timely delivery and collection of ADR tankers to and from customer locations.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after each trip.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and delivery logs.

Yard Work:

• Assist with light yard duties when not driving.
• Support the Tank Testing Division, including de-gassing tasks.
• Participate in training for additional responsibilities related to ADR tanker maintenance.

Shift Details:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturday: Half-day at an overtime rate
• Additional overtime as required

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid ADR certification for transporting hazardous goods.
• Valid Artic (C+E) driving license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Artic driving.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Willingness to learn and perform physical tasks and light yard work.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: €41,600 P/A
• Overtime available
• 20 days of paid holidays per year

Legal Requirements:

• Must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
• Compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
