Signage and Printing Technician

We are currently looking for a full-time technician in our print & signage department, where we produce a large range of large-format graphics, internal and external signage, POS, and display items for our clients.
Purpose
To assist a first-class signage print team in producing cutting edge communications.
Duties would include
- Laminating, trimming and finishing of large-format vinyl prints.
- Machine application of print and other materials to various substrates.
- Weeding-out and finishing of cut vinyl material.
- Assembly of a variety of different types of signage, including internal and external use LED illuminated signs.
- Checking their work is correct, packing and labelling carefully.
- Ensuring the work space is kept clean and tidy.
- Meeting deadlines to ensure all work is completed on time.
- To keep the print room and all equipment in a clean and safe state, to maintain service and observe health and safety requirements.
- To work collaboratively with all other team members in ensuring daily targets are met.
- Ensure that you are working in line with current health and safety standards.
- Take full responsibility for all health and safety issues for which he/she is responsible.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by your line manager.

- Safe handling and use of sharp blades, hand tools, and basic power tools.
- Reasonable level of physical health and fitness, as this work will sometimes require the handling of large or heavy items.
- Knowledge of roller-based lamination, working with large-format vinyl prints, or some previous experience in the manufacture of commercial display, trade show, or exhibition signage work will considered an advantage but not a requirement. All training will be provided as needed.
Pay: €26,500.00-€34,500.00 per year
