Site Engineer

SPP originally a family run business set up in the UK, has now expanded worldwide.
Recently set up ROI, we are now working with a number of main contractors on a number of projects throughout Ireland.
Our company now has an opening for a Site Engineer based in our Dublin office.
The role comes with a company car, toll tag etc.
Responsibilities Include:

Carry out all duties in a competent and professional manner.
Communicate effectively with other engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers, and client representatives.
To deliver setting out works on ongoing contracts, ensuring that they operate within cost, productivity, Quality and Health, Safety and Environment targets.
Ensure contracts are delivered safely on time, within budget and to programme.
Maintain a good relationship with clients to avoid disputes.
Have a high level of commercial awareness related to the works.
Assure that all work is carried out to company safety, environmental, and Quality standards and to regularly communicate with staff and operatives.
Carry out Safety Audits as required by line management.
Liaise with & manage sub-contractors to ensure their strict adherence of the company Health, Safety and Environment policy and Quality standards.
Ensure that all operations carried out within your area of responsibility are undertaken with full regard for safety of visitors, other members of staff and yourself.
Any other Adhoc duties that may apply.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a site engineering role.
A third level qualification in engineering.
Good communication skills.
