Care Network Ireland are currently recruiting for Social Care Worker for a full time/permanent position to provide residential and respite care within a staff team for children and adults with an intellectual disability in Tuam, Co. Galway.


Key Duties:

• Act as Person in Charge in the absence of the Service Manager.
• Responsible for the wellbeing of people supported within the residential facility.
• Monitor and record the progress of service users.
• Facilitate the development of interpersonal relationships.
• Enable confidence and individuality.
• Involvement in planning and implementation of specific approaches and programmes designed for service users.
• Care for the day to day needs of service users.

Requirements:

• Degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Care.
• Previous experience working with people with an intellectual disability or a similar field.
• Full current driving license.
• Must reside in Ireland.
• Must have a valid and current permit to allow you to work in Ireland.
