The historic Barberstown Castle Hotel in Straffan, Co. Kildare are currently recruiting a Social Media and Content Producer. Job Summary:
Barberstown Castle are looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media and Content Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing compelling content across various social media platforms. You will play a crucial role in developing engaging narratives and captions that resonate with the target audience.
This position requires proficiency in using tools like Chat GPT, Canva, In Shot and Cap Cut to produce visually appealing and engaging content. Social Video will be a big part of this job. As will shooting photos from a smartphone. Platform focus will be on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and You Tube.
Experience working with restaurants, wedding venues, or destination brands is a significant advantage. You will be expected to build and maintain strong engagement with social media profiles, ensuring a consistent and effective social media presence. Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation :
○ Capture high-quality photos and videos suitable for social media platforms.
○ Edit content using tools like Canva, In Shot and Cap Cut to ensure professional and engaging visuals.
○ Publish content on social media channels according to the content calendar.
○ Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all social media platforms.
○ Utilise Chat GPT to generate content and video series ideas as well as narratives for posts.
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
○ Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
○ Create and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure regular and timely posts.
○ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social media content aligns with broader marketing and communication strategies.
Community Engagement:
○ Monitor social media profiles and engage with followers to build a strong community.
○ Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
○ Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and engagement.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
○ Track and analyse social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
○ Provide monthly and quarterly reports on social media performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
○ Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
Brand Collaboration & Representation:
○ Work closely with the client's marketing and communications team to ensure cohesive branding.
○ Represent the client's brand positively and professionally in all interactions.
○ Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with the client's brand values and goals.
Content Optimization:
○ Continuously optimise content based on performance metrics and audience feedback.
○ Experiment with new content formats and strategies to keep the social media presence dynamic and engaging.
Growth & Development:
○ Identify opportunities for personal and professional growth within the role.
○ Participate in training and development programs to enhance social media and content creation skills.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a Social Media and Content Producer.
● Proficiency in using Chat GPT, Canva, and Cap Cut.
● Experience working with restaurants, wedding venues, or destination brands is highly desirable.
● Exceptional creativity and strong narrative skills for social media content.
● Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
● Ability to capture, edit, and publish content effectively.
● Competence in building engagement and growing social media profiles.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
● Portfolio showcasing your content production and social media experience.
● Demonstrated success in building and managing brands on social media.
● Successful applicants will participate in a two-phase interview process, including a case study presentation.
