Staff Nurse (NICU)
FULL TIME & PART TIME

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Monitor and assess the health of neonates, managing all aspects of their care from birth through recovery.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and specialists, to ensure optimal care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by neonatologists.
- Educate and provide emotional support to parents and families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and assist with discharge planning.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) registration.
- Minimum of 6-12 months experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care setting (or relevant clinical experience).
- Advanced Neonatal Life Support (ANLS) or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: €38.00-€82.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
