Steel Installer/ Steel Erector

Established in 2001, G&S Stainless Services Ltd specialise in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of stainless steel fabrications including process pipework, vessels and custom projects. We operate across a variety of industries including chemical, food & dairy, pharmaceutical, brewing distilling and manufacturing. We pride ourselves on the high quality and reliability of the products and services that we offer. We are currently recruiting for the position of Steel Installer/ Erector for what will be primarily site work in the Clondalkin area. It will include but is not limited, to fitting pipe support bkts on site. See duties/ skills for further details.
Duties / Skills

Knowledge of construction
Logical thinking skills
Good level of physical fitness
Confidence to work at height
Awareness of health and safety guidelines
Good team working skills
Reviewing technical plans drawn by architects and engineers
Planning project assembly
Cutting and assembling steel fixtures
Operating hand and power tools
Installing and fixing together pipe support bkts, pipework and beam sections
Using elevated work platforms and scissor lifts
Lining up and levelling steelwork before bolting it in place
Working on-site, often at height.

Job Type: Full-time
Ability to commute/relocate:

County Meath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Steel fitting: 1 year (required)

Language:

English (required)

Licence/Certification:

IPAF Certificate (required)

Work authorisation:

Ireland (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

25% (preferred)
