The Role
An exciting opportunity for a Store Manager has come up in our new BORN store in Sligo city. We are looking for someone who loves fashion and is used to working in a fast-paced retail environment. The ability to delegate effectively, manage a team, and work well under pressure is essential. Please see below for more details
You will be responsible for opening and closing the store. Your duties include handling operational procedures, assisting cashiers, providing customer service, supervising cleaning staff, setting alarms, and keeping the entry area clean and organised. Further responsibilities are outlined below:
Responsobilities

• Responsible for daily operations of a fast paced retail store.
• Responsible for looking after your own team, training needs, monitoring their performance, processing deliveries, placement of stock.
• Managing the performance of the store, accountable for achieving targets, wage budgets etc.
• Ensuring the store is kept to company standards including customer service, reporting to head office/ area manager on a daily basis

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience of management in a retail fashion store.
• Must have a strong work ethic and thrive under pressure.
• You should be highly motivated, energetic and show good leadership as part of a team.
• Must have experience in managing staff, doing rosters, being a daily planner, performing management, and having good delegation skills.
• Ability to analyse targets, kpis, trends, merchandising.
• Have a passion for delivering a good customer shopping experience
• Computer literate, POS, excel etc.
