Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for many of our guests, the Switchboard Assistant plays a critical role in upholding The Westbury’s reputation for excellence. This role involves handling all incoming calls, managing guest inquiries, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that every interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Professional Call Handling: Answer and direct all incoming calls with poise and precision.
Guest Support: Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests.
Interdepartmental Coordination: Facilitate clear communication with front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and other departments to meet guest needs seamlessly.
Administrative Duties: Handle essential administrative tasks, including managing messages, wake-up calls, and reservations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Refined Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to uphold our professional standards.
Guest-Centric Attitude: A polished, customer-oriented approach with experience in high-end hospitality or customer service preferred.
Efficiency and Organization: Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
Flexibility: Available for varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
