Role:

• Supervision of employees within the Production Department,
• Responsible for maintaining excellent standards of housekeeping and Health & Safety, ensuring direct reports are training and work accordingly.
• Ensure Production is carried out in accordance with GMP, ISO and all regulated bodies,
• Responsible for management of employee relations issues within the department,
• Ensure Production is carried out in a timely manner, adhering to Production Schedules, to meet customer demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, training and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
• Support and proactively engage in continuous improvement projects across the function.
• Accountable for compliance with batch record completion, risk assessments, closing out corrective actions and all associated paperwork.
• Prepare (i.e., inspect, verify condition) all equipment, in conjunction with the Maintenance Team, used in the manufacturing process prior to use to ensure efficient, clean and safe operation.
• Engage continually in developing World Class practices in continuous improvement and problem solving initiatives, including focus groups.
• Ensure optimal use of resources at all times and deployment to across the organisation as required.
• Work to ensure the highest level of teamwork and cooperation with all colleagues.
