Technical Customer Support Executive

We now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Technical Customer Support Executive to join our team. The candidate will be coming into our Client Services team where collaborating with the team and our clients is critically important and you will have a significant impact on the business. The successful candidate will be adaptable and enjoy the challenge of an ever-changing environment in a growing, early-stage business. Working closely with the Head of Client Services & Product Owner, our Client Services & Training Lead and our existing Technical Support team, the role will involve setting up and training new clients across Ireland in using our software. This person should be a great communicator, very organised, solutions focused, be an adept problem solver and highly proficient at using technology.
This position is a hybrid role with at least 1 day/week to be completed in our offices in Kilrush, Co. Clare. There is also the option to be primarily based in the office. The role may require some travel to client meetings but it is envisaged that this would be no more than twice a month. Full training will be provided and the role will be performed in collaboration with the wider team.
What You’ll Do
  • Onboarding of new clients and having regular calls with our existing clients. This involves identification of integration needs, meeting both online and in-person with key internal and external stakeholders, and supporting client set-up on our system.
  • Provide general customer support to an exceptional standard
  • Respond to customer queries on use of the software
  • Investigate/troubleshoot customer queries in relation to the software
  • Liaise with our development team for resolution of technical issues
  • Utilise internal systems to record all interactions with customers
  • Prepare for and run workshops on how to use the software, both in person and online
  • Contribute new customer guidance articles to our digital knowledge base and ensure currency and relevance of existing content
  • Maintain strong, positive and productive client relationships
Required Attributes
  • Third level technology or business related qualification
  • Strong client-facing, teamwork and communication skills are essential
  • Previous experience with the administration of CRM systems and customer service solutions is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in the roll out of enterprise style software and driving adoption would be highly regarded.
  • An understanding of Local Authority Housing practices, Private Rental Inspection practices, or Residential Asset Management systems would be advantageous
  • Solid organisational skills, including multi-tasking and time-management are necessary
  • Availability for occasional travel
