Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Technical Training Manager to lead and enhance our technical and product training programs. This role is critical in ensuring our employees and partners possess the technical expertise required to support our innovative solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, develop training materials, and deliver impactful training globally. This role offers the opportunity to shape the learning culture within our organization and influence the development of cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and elevate the technical skills of employees in technical roles.
  • Design and implement a technical learning framework aligned with business needs.
  • Develop and deliver individual and group training programs to address specific objectives.
  • Create comprehensive training manuals and employ innovative training methods.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of technical and product training across the company and with third-party partners.
  • Develop learning paths and plans that enhance technical competencies.
  • Integrate multimedia and smart technology into training for enhanced learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions and external providers to meet technical training needs.
  • Manage the preparation and certification of technical and learning assessment documentation.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to include quality, safety, and environmental considerations in training.
  • Maintain and report on training metrics and records.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant academic qualifications in electrical, mechatronics, electronics, or similar fields.
  • Proven experience in delivering technical training, ideally within sectors such as energy, automation, or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of LV power distribution, automation control systems, PLCs, and SCADA.
  • Recognized qualification in technical training is highly desirable.
  • Membership in relevant industry bodies is an advantage.
Skills & Attributes
  • Ability to design and implement technical learning paths and training plans.
  • Strong understanding of learning outcomes and assessment methodologies.
  • Proficient in related systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of company products.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for up to one week at a time.
