Technical Writer

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create crane maintenance documents for Liebherr and its customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data and to achieve goals.
  • Maintain project timelines and work to assigned schedules.
  • Use multimedia applications to create content in line with process developments at Liebherr.
  • Use JIRA-based tracking systems to manage issues as they arise.
  • Maintain a customer focus in all aspects of work.
  • Use Creo and other drawing applications to create content to support maintenance guidelines.
  • Other duties will evolve and arise from time to time.
Qualifications, Requirements & Experience
  • A relevant third level technical qualification or technical background.
  • Practical experience in maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
  • Experience in creating technical content for use in training/coaching.
  • Ability to use own initiative / a strong team player.
  • Excellent communication / collaboration skills.
  • A willingness to learn / develop further relevant skills as they arise.
  • Applicants must have a high standard of written and spoken English.
  • Experienced in the use of drawing packages such as Creo/Auto CAD or similar.
  • Proficient computer user – a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – minimum.
  • Fluency in German would be desirable.
