The Role
As a Traffic Desk Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our traffic planning desk. Your responsibilities will include:
● Ensuring efficient staffing and resource allocation
● Conducting training programs and reviews
● Resolving driver and customer issues
● Liaising with fleet management
● Producing reports for management
● Ensuring adherence to company procedures
● Providing support to planners and coordinators
● Conducting performance reviews
● Attending meetings and proposing improvements
● Dealing with staff escalations
The Person We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in traffic management within the logistics industry.
The ideal candidate will have:
● Recent experience as a Traffic Manager or Senior Transport Planner
● Strong geographical knowledge of Ireland
● Excellent communication skills
● Advanced IT skills
● In-depth knowledge of transport legislation
● Strong problem-solving abilities
