Walker 1781 is seeking waiting staff with a commitment to excellent customer service. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a proven track record in hospitality.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greeting and Seating Customers: Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
• Taking Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Knowledge of Menu: Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and available specials. Be able to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Serving Food and Drinks: Serve meals and drinks to guests, ensuring all items meet the establishment’s quality standards.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that tables, dining areas, and workstations are clean and organised.
• Handling Payments: Process guest payments, including cash handling and operating a POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Providing Excellent Customer Service: Address any guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient operation and guest satisfaction.

Desired Qualities:

• Proven waiting experience with a minimum of 3 years in the industry
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike
• Have a keen eye for detail, ensuring nothing is overlooked in the guest experience.
