Warehouse Administrator

At Tile Merchant, Greenogue (Dublin 24) we are looking to add a warehouse admin to our team. We are a tile, surfaces and bathroom company with three showrooms and a thriving e-commerce website.
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join our team in Greenogue.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks related to stock control, order processing, and inventory management.
This role requires strong communication skills to collaborate with the sales team and other branches, ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of warehouse operations.
While experience with SAP is appreciated, it is not mandatory as training will be provided.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
Salary: €16 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Pick Lists: Create and print pick lists for the warehouse team. Process pick lists from delivery through to invoicing.
- Invoicing: Review open delivery dockets to determine items that require invoicing and process them accordingly.
- Order Coordination: Communicate regularly with the sales team regarding order statuses and any relevant updates.
- Stock Transfers: Create and print stock transfer requests for other branches and ensure timely booking of stock transfer requests into the system.
- Goods Receipt: Process open purchase orders (POs) by booking them into goods receipt POs to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Stock Management: Request stock checks when needed and assist with stock adjustments in line with our inventory system and our warehouse manager.
- Stock Adjustments: Make stock adjustments as necessary to align inventory levels with operational needs.
- Document Management: Scan and organise all necessary paperwork into Filestream for proper document storage and retrieval.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse administration or a similar role is preferred (at least 1 year).
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is required. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is beneficial but not essential.
- Organisation & Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with both the warehouse and sales teams.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with different departments and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking with a proactive approach to solving operational issues.
