Job description
Our Agri & Hardware store has a wide range of departments including building products, agriculture, equine, paint, gardening, plumbing and clothing.
Due to continued success we are looking for a full-time warehouse / yard assistant to join our team. This is a varied and interesting position with no two days the same.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customers with a knowledgeable, high quality service. The role will include but not limited to;
- Loading and unloading of material.
- Assisting customers with loading material.
- Maintain store standards (stock availability, cleanliness etc.)
- Customer service
- Rolling stock taking
- Merchandising
The ideal candidate:
- Must have 1 years minimum experience in a similar position
- A keen customer focus
- An ability to work on own initiative
- Good organisation skills & attention to detail
- Available to work 5 days per week to include weekends
- Forklift licence an advantage
- Ability to lift 25kg and work consistently on their feet.
