RPM Power is one of Ireland’s leading fitness brands. Operating from our offices in Thurles, Co. Tipperary for the past 25 years, we are a retailer of a wide range of fitness equipment, including multi-gyms, cardio machines and dumbbells. We provide quality products to customers located all over Ireland and beyond, with many of our smaller products shipped across the globe on a daily basis. Currently we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy team on-site in our large warehouse in Thurles.
We are looking for an "all-rounder" who is able to come up with practical solutions to tasks and has no problem completing heavy lifting work when required. This role is primarily centred around work in our warehouse, however, you may also be required to assist with manual tasks on customer installations with our team when needed.
The position is full-time with an initial 3-month contract until end of January 2025. After that date, a permanent full-time contract will be offered based on satisfactory performance and if you are happy to continue in the role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Organising and general upkeep of the warehouse
• Transporting heavy goods with lifting vehicles (i.e. pallet trucks, forklift)
• Unloading containers and lifting/moving heavy boxes
• Order picking and packing and pallet assembly
• Processing orders in our digital system
• Stock replenishment and stock taking
• Communicating with couriers and planning collections
• Working with with our Customer Service Team to solve shipping queries
• Going off-site to assist with product installations

Experience/Certification/Skills:

• Category B driver’s licence (required)
• Previous work experience in a warehouse or logistics environment; or work experience in mechanical, repair, construction or engineering industry (preferred)
• PPT (forklift) licence (preferred)
• Manual handling/Safe Pass certs (preferred)
• Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word are an advantage
• Practical mechanical and/or repair skills are an advantage
• Ability to commute to Thurles
