We are looking for an experienced My SQL DBA, who can cover both database maintenance, failover, optimization etc, as well as help with SQL/Stored procedures optimization.

We are looking for an experienced My SQL DBA, who can cover both database maintenance, failover, optimization etc, as well as help with SQL/Stored procedures optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Be a part of rapid development cycles to deliver high-quality products
- Hands-on Development of infrastructure and maintenance
- Be responsible for All databases in the organization, including development DBs, Staging DBs and Production DBs
- Cover Admin aspects like: Security, Failover/replication, Optimization etc.
- Cover Design aspects like: table structure, indexing, query / stored procedures design etc.
- Incorporate products, work procedures, best practices and architecture
- Going over specifications documents thoroughly to find special cases and scenarios
- Cooperate with dev, QA and devops teams
- Becoming the house expert on Database.
- Train developers and QA on .
- 5 years experience as DBA, at least 3 of them as My SQL DBA
- Hands-on experience with DBA failover, security, optimization, backup etc.
- Hands-on experience with DB design, testing and maintenance
- Self-managed, can work as a single DBA in the organization
- Experience with a scripting language - Python, Bash.
- Issue resolution abilities and good analysis to root cause detection Mandatory
- - good English, both written and spoken
- Developed in C++, specifically calling mysql from it
- Financial background: FIX protocol, FX trading,
- Experience with Jira, SVN, Jenkins
