Minimum qualifications:

• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Java Script)
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithm

The Google Notifications team (Ga NT) makes it easy for Google products to acquire, engage, retain, and ultimately delight our users by enabling high-quality notifications and helping drive growth across the Google ecosystem.We are responsible for receiving, rendering, analyzing and optimizing notifications sent to mobile devices by Google products.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for developing client libraries integrated by Google products for push notifications and for in-app notifications.
• Contribute to the design and launch of a single library to be used by both the push and in-app protocols.
• Address optimisation and scale challenges - since these libraries are integrated by virtually all Google products (e.g., Maps, Gmail, Google Drive). Work directly with engineers on these teams to ensure their requirements are understood and met.
