Account Manager Business Development - Italy

In order to transform Siemens Energy into an integrated energy & technology company being the energy transformation leader, the South Europe business development team is looking for a new team member as Account Manager. We need an authentic and creative person with the ability to work in a fast and agile way! The person will be an integral part of our team, that will drive our business development activities across our portfolio in an exciting transformation period and beyond. The passion for a collaborative approach with our Business Areas and for the development of new energy solutions in a decarbonized way is a must.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Match customer demands with the Siemens Energy portfolio and strategy in Italy and collaborate across regions in Hub Europe and with defined interfaces in the Business Areas, and you brainstorm guides in the Hub/ Business Areas to qualify leads for bidding
- Tap new growth areas and develop a strong sales funnel and mature opportunities
- Identify local benefit elements and support the establishment of suitable business models
- Establish close and trustful relations to your customers and design conceptional solutions for them to position Siemens Energy as early as possible
- Promote the clarity of our sales channel and collect the leads and opportunities in Salesforce, driving the qualification of leads and turning them into high potential opportunities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of an organizational framework and supply lessons learned from previous offers and projects
What You Bring
- A versatile, creative, agile approach and pro-actively get into the details and collaborate in a hands-on way
- You have mid-term of direct experience in the energy business in particular in transmission and High voltage products or solutions, including customer engagement on senior level
- Demonstrate expertise in Power-to-x projects or in the hydrogen business and a deep understanding of the European Energy landscape and industry, with emphasis on decarbonization topics
- You can showcase your competence as conceptual problem solver and can define tangible concepts and arguments, which try new things and feasibility of the solutions into account
- Proficient in Italian and English.
- Availability for business trips within south Europe to visit customers or colleagues.
