We are seeking an Application Engineer eager to join our Team in Varisco Customer Center, Atlas Copo Padova.
As Application Engineer, you will make an active contribution to strengthening the industrial pumps business, maintaining commercial relationships, implementing and supporting the company's development strategies, ensuring customer response and follow-up of quotations or projects, ensuring profitable network with all parties involved.
Varisco is a well-established and ever-expanding company. It manufactures pumps, both for dewatering and industrial use. In 2016 Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history behind it.


The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Actively participates in the definition and development of new standardizable technical solutions to meet new market needs.
• Provides internal technical support necessary to ensure the implementation and commercial success of these solutions.
• Responsible for selecting, sizing and costing competitive pumping solutions that deliver customer value while supporting our strategies and product portfolio for the industry and related applications. Constitutes the bridge between our Area Managers and business development managers and customers to understand the needs and define the best solution to the request.

What we expect of you?

• Mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial engineering degree or similar qualification
• Professional experience in the field of pumps will be an asset
• A great communicator, result-oriented who can adapt quickly to the evolution of business
• A problem solver who thrives working as a team
• Good knowledge of English and Italian is essential
